Dr. Wheat joins the IMC team as a leadership and team building professional with over 10 plus years of experience. Areas of expertise include Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Change Management, Project Management, Virtual Team Management, Train and Development, and Customer Service. She has the ability to problem solve issues with unique out of the box solutions using superb analytical, implementation, and communications skills.
Dr. Wheat is highly self-motivated to embrace a leadership vision and motivate leaders, managers and teams to achieve excellent results. Her range of experiences, gives her an extraordinarily broad view of organizations. As an organizational development consultant to leaders and managers in executive positions, she provides strategies for sustainable business performances. Dr. Wheat’s unique ability to create authentic leaders, enabling them to address both organizational and individual needs, improving team dynamics to enhance productivity and overall performance. As an I/O psychologist Dr. Wheat has provided executive leadership to several organizations, using psychological principles and research methods to solve problems in the workplace and improve the quality of life. This includes, but is not limited to mattes associated with recruitment, executive coaching, selection and placement, organizational leadership training and development, management efficiency, diversity, equity and inclusion training, leadership styles and employee working styles.
Dr. Wheat works closely with women in leadership and organizations focusing on program designs, working in systemic organizations helping them navigate through organizations. She co-authored a book called “She Crabs in a Barrel” which deals with women in business.
Dr. Wheat has a MBA in Management and Accounting and a PhD in Industrial Organizational Psychology. She is currently working on her Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
She is an organizational psychologist, executive coach, trainer, consultant, speaker, mentor, college professor, and an author.
